Developed in close collaboration with the House of Cartier, which represents excellence in fine jewelry, the project had to live up to the House's reputation.
Héritage de Cartier must be felt throughout all its boutiques, and must comply with strict specifications and a charter defined by the parent company in Paris.
However, the idea here was to bring a Caribbean twist to the brand's very urban concept. It was important for us to translate Cartier's DNA while preserving a local identity specific to St Barths.
It's with this in mind that we worked on this project, highlighting local materials, treated in a noble and sophisticated manner. It's also a very ecological project, and has been awarded the LEED environmental label.
Warm wood species have been selected and tropical motifs designed to give the boutique a more tropical ambience.
All the furniture was made to measure with international teams, blending ancestral and contemporary know-how to offer the finest finishes possible. The finest suppliers of fabrics, woods and furnishings were consulted to achieve a quality worthy of Cartier jewels.
